You may notice that our website has changed and hopefully will find this new version informative and easy to use. I know that it is different and there may be areas which need further development so ask for your understanding and patience with this. The staff will be adding further information, records of activities and other news items to the website in the coming weeks.

Many thanks,

Jonathan Tearle, Headteacher

Look Out For Ceebies!

We are going to feature on the BBC children’s show, Ceebies Something Special later this month!

We are delighted to tell you that the episode filmed at Mowbray School last year will be shown for the first time on Friday 22nd January 2016 on CBeebies at 09.45am and repeated at 13.45pm. The new Series of Something Special will begin on Monday 11th January 2016.

Livestock On The Move

Our horses and sheep are being moved due to the effects of so much rain, during which our farm has become saturated with water. The horses’ field is such a mud bath that we have moved them to a livery stable close by where the horses will be more comfortable whilst the land recovers. We are also moving our sheep to another farm, again to protect our land, and for them to be more comfortable. They will be visited by pupils and staff on a regular basis and will return to our farm once the ground conditions have improved.

Go Chloe!

Congratulations to Chloe who yesterday started an apprenticeship at The Northern College of Racing in Doncaster where she is attending for a day a week to train as a jockey having been talent spotted at a local careers event. Well done Chloe!
