We are only two weeks away from this year’s school activity week, when all pupils will be out of school everyday! For many pupils and staff this is the highlight of the school year, with relationships built between pupils themselves but also with their teachers and teaching assistants.
In primary & secondary there are numerous residentials and day trips organised, including:
Camping and outdoor activities in the Peak District.
Excursions to Bronte country and glamping!
Overnight in York and local attractions.
Trip to Keilder Water and the observatory.
Local days, walking, canoeing etc…
“Brilliant Residentials are school trips with an overnight stay, which are led by teachers, co-designed with students and fully integrated into the curriculum. They are a ‘multi-tool’ for achieving vital educational outcomes, have a huge impact on students of all ages and can help to deliver whole school change”.
